Our CSR Vision
Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited through the years has been devoted to the principles which uphold the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) charter.
Our vision outlined in the Social Responsibility charter is “Extending ‘Smart Solutions’ that create long lasting value to the society”
Focus Areas
Our CSR project portfolio can be broadly classified into three domains:
Extended CSR Investments
BGSW/CSR invests in two leading technology institutions of international repute to support cutting edge research.
- IIT Madras: The Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (RBC-DSAI), was founded in 2017 with a vision to become a global leader in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence research and lead fundamental research problem solving across multiple disciplines.
RBC-DSAI also creates social impact by fostering startups with high worth intellectual capital catering to the Indian market and collaborates with government agencies to address complex social problems. - IISc Bangalore: The Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber-Physical Systems (RBCCPS) was established in 2015 at Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The centre focuses on foundational and applied research to solve cutting edge problems in Robotics involving advanced machine learning techniques, Connected Autonomous Systems like drones and 5G-enabled autonomous vehicles, and Socio-Technical Systems like urban transportation systems and Smart Cities. RBCCPS interacts with industries as well as government and non-government research organizations, to pursue innovative technology products that are likely to have significant impact on society. We have established and financed RBCCPS till 2020.
BGSW/CSR also invests in projects undertaken by the Bosch India Foundation which are holistic village development and skilling through Artisan Training Centers. Bosch India Foundation fosters holistic village development with special focus on thrust areas such as economic development, health and infrastructure.
